Why they choose to keep Steam intact on the release is a good question to us. but it gives you alot of whining. You will need steam aswell when using this version, heres a direct download:
you might want to download the SKIDROW crack to use on the RAZOR1911 version so you dont need steam and all that, if you use this crack follow the SKIDROW installation guide.
Installating the SKIDROW version
- Unpack the 2 cd's just right click on a file from cd 1 and press extract here, do the same with cd 2.
- Burn the cd's on a dvd using nero, or simply mount them using daemon tools. (never mount both iso's at the same time but first cd 1 and when your asked for cd 2 you mount cd 2)
- Start the installer and finish it as you do with all installers
- DO NOT START THE GAME JET
- Now mount cd 2 if that isnt mounted and right click and explore the cd.
- Open the SKIDROW folder and copy all the files in there.
- Navigate to your installation folder (where you installed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2).
- Paste all the files you copied over the files in the installation folder. replace all.
Installating the RAZOR1911 version

- Install steam and create an account
- Now mount cd 2 if that isnt mounted and right click and explore the cd.
- Open the RAZOR1911 folder and copy all the files in there.
- Navigate to your installation folder (where you installed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2).
- Paste all the files you copied over the files in the installation folder. replace all.
- First log into steam and then run the iw4sp.exe! Othwerwise it wont work!
Installating the Multiplayer crack Crack is not working atm, we are waiting for a new release just like you.
- Open "01 MW2 MP CRACK"
- Copy "iw4mp.exe" and "steam_api.dll"
- Paste it into your MW2 Install Folder (where you installed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2).
- Overwrite ALL files.
- Now Install steam, you can download it here: Steam download
- Make a steam account at http://www.steam.com and login
- Go to "My Games" in steam
- click Add non-Steam Game
- ADD MW2 SP and MPClick Activate a Product on Steam
- Go to: myzerogear.com/beta/invite.php fill in a valid e-mail adress
- Enter myzerogear Serial Number from the EMAIL you should have received!
- When it asks to install the game click Cancel.
- Now, almost done… Open MW2 MP From Desktop or from Steam, click "Shift + TAB" To open Steam!
- Click settings in Steam
- Enter a nickname but it has to contain spaces, otherwise it does not work!
