Installation & Cracking

I have a DVD disc of the game the installation went fine but after the installation, it ask me what authentication should i use.. there are two options the online authentication that requires internet and the disc authentication that requires the disc to paly. i choose the 2nd one then i copy the crack and paste the files on the installation folder then i ran the game. But the game launcher told me that i have a late version.. they ask me to download the lattes patch version to be able to play. that download took me 2 hours. then after that i opened the game but nothing happens. pls help me. does this patch download appear to other gamers or its just me? pls reply anyone? pls tnx

Installed game and updated online, applied the cracks like I have been doing for 20 years, but when I start the game I receive this error shown below…
Application popup: BFBC2Game.exe – Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll.
…but this error does not stop the game dead. The game continues to load to the setup screens and mission choices. Once I click on a single player mode and mission, the game begins to load mission and shows the screen about the story of the myth, blah blah blah. Right after those 3 paragraphs are done displaying, the screen fades to black and boinks me back to desktop. The game stops running and is released from memory in a clean cut. It’s like I clicked a button to shut off game, but I haven’t. Any help would be appreciated if you have managed to repair this type of issue with BFBC2. My graphics seem just fine and the game runs the intros perfectly. Seems to get unhappy just as it starts to load the mission stuff.
OH, almost forgot…I have WInXP and the system runs games like BF2, COD4, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Unreal Tourn 2004, Tribes, etc etc. on good settings.

HEY.. WAIT..! i have a solution for anyone who cant upgrade or hasn’t a requirement RAM…. YOU CAN MAKE YAOUR FLASH DISK FOR EXTRA RAM…! yea i tried it…. follow this step (for win7 only)
1. insert your FLASH at least 1.5x of your RAM
2. Open windows explorer>Right click on your flash>properties>readyboost
3. Click “test”
4. after it… you have to calculate the value haw many you want to take the memory for extra RAM..! hav a niyc dy^_^
my DEFAULT RAM=2, MY FLASH=4, (you cant take full of flash memory for extra ram) 2+2=4, so the value of My TOTAL RAM MEMO IS 4 GB..!

Im pretty sure im the dumbest guy ever because ive downloaded bfbc2 off pirate bay and mounted the image using ISODisk. I open that up and try to run the autorun application and then click install and then nothing happens…. i give windows permission to install the game then nothing happens at all…. please help
Could you try mounting the iso using Daemon Tools?
What torrent did you use?

In your Daemon Tools taskbar icon (left from your clock) right click, go to options, and look for “securom” select that, and try again.
if that does not work, your download may be corrupt and i suggest redownloading…
what version did you download? the iso download, or the download that you need to unrar?

WHen I start singeplayer it goes fine like 10 seconds.
When the picture comes and the ppl start speaking it freezes and says

I have copied all files from “crack” folder, I have tried with and without update.

Go into winrar settings and disassociate it with .cab files, then each time the error comes up when you’re installing the game click “retry” – that method has worked for a few people. If that doesn’t work, try the next method:

Hello,
I have a big mouse problem with this game!
I applied the guidelines here and the game starts without any problem. I downloaded the game from here (megaupload files, not torrents) http://www.golden-ddl.com/jeuxvideo/pc/
But when I start the campaign (single player) I can’t look around, only up and down… And then when the cinematic ends and I have to walk the game gets crazy and it’s like being in a roller coaster (mouse view goes around at lightning speed!) I can use the melee button assigned (V) , but its definitely a bug.
What must I do?
The game updated when I first started the game (it took ages) and then I copied again the files from the crack to the main folder, which allowed me to start the game…
You didnt download ALL the crack files… (some miss from some downloads)
i recommend downloading the crack file we provide, and copy paste all files to the right directory.

Hi, I have isntalled the game copied everything in the crack folder to the root folder. The game starts perfectly until when i go into singleplayer, click my difficulty, everythign is perfect. i can see the message about the scientist but as soon as you can see the people talking there is like a black triangle at the bottom of my screen made of black squares around the edges these flash through out the whole video and when i can finally move my mouse goes crazy and the triangle is still there.
I have redownloaded the game, the crack , and yes i have checked my specs and their perfect.

possible fix i found for you: remove the “BFBC2″ folder in “My Documents” and try again.
an 8600GT should be able to handle BC2, but make sure you have the most recent drivers and directX installed. Do you have any flickering problems w. other games?
Where can i download the drivers for this?, and no i dont have flicker problems in other games, i have bf2142, crysis, and others and they run perfectly, Btw thanks for the help so far

I think i have the same problem as ray, when i install the game it asks me for the serial number, i use the keygen and get the code, enter it and it works but it then asks me for another registration code. I’ve tried lots of times using the code from keygen but it dosent work. What can i do?? Thanks in advance.

Well, multiplayer is not possible unless you play on cracked servers, since the game is downloaded after all and not a legitimet copy.
if you want to play real multiplayer you will have to buy the game.

Follow the instructions, i dont know what you are doing but you skipped some steps. Make sure you apply the crack!

Nope, the thing is… never mount 2 iso’s at the same time.
mount the 1st iso with daemon tools, and continue from there…
lemme know if you still run into problems, and if thats the case let me know what program you use to mount the iso, and tell me your exact steps.
im having the same problem. i followed all the steps. when i ran the game it said i had to update it to run it. so i hit ok and it updated. then it said wrong disc inserted everytime i hit play. first it verifies the version then i get the error message.
you need to recopy the crack. I had that problem i tried it and now i can at least get to the main menu but i try the single player and it crashes with no error message after the whole in 1944 … text screen

I have just downloaded the torrent and copied and override all the files in the game folder. The game starts fine and if I start/resume my campaign then the game just shuts down after a while and it goes back to Windows. I have tried several times and restarted the computer, remounted the disk image etc but no joy.
Do you think reinstalling the game will fix that? or buying a genuine one might not have mouse issues?

Hi Daemon,
I took the following steps;
Downloaded and installed the file, and used the crack that came with the ISO file
Worked fine, got halfway through the campaign and got that mouse issue only able to look up and down.
Copied your crack files into game folder, no joy
downloaded and copied the latest patch as advised by you, and I started a new game after restarting the computer, and when the game intro begins, the game goes back to Windows without any error message, If I leave the game running on the main screen then it won’t do anything and stay in the game but as soon as I start/resume my game, it will vanish after a few seconds.
Do you think that doing a complete uninstall and then install the game, copy the latest patch for the mouse fix before I play the game will do any good?
Yes, in that case i recommend a full reinstall… make sure you back up your saved game! (its in your “my documents” folder)
I will do that and let you know how I got on.

What this does is telling your pc to focus on the game, and dont bother with other stuff which will most likely cause the game to run smoother, if it doesnt please come back and we can try to figure out a different solution

HI Demon,
I did a complete un install and reinstalled the game, and applied the latest patch from this forum but the game kept crashing as soon as you start a campaign or resume game. I copied the original crack to the game folder and it worked a treat and I am almost half way through the game.

i have downloaded it and it works like a charm
but there is one problem
when i have played for an while an completed some missions and got tired of it and shutdown the game and when i start the game again i cant resume the campaign i have tried everything

Did you manually save the game before you quitted? there are some issue’s which concern the auto save function while using the crack…
i havent tried that i will try it and let you but where can you save it manaully

I’ve followed all of the steps and when I load up the game from the cracked file that I have pasted a white screen just appears on the left of the screen. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it greatly.

Hmmm in that case i recommend lowering the graphics settings as it could be loading times… can you try putting the settings to the lowest possible and see if it works better than? if it does simply set the settings higher and repeat that untill the problem reoccurs.

Generate another key with the keygen… you should alteast get 1 working key out of 2 try’s…

Disc authentication should be selected, and you should be prompted for a serial than.

Where in my comment did i say am using a duplicate Cd-Key.
We shared and both the game only thing is he has the disc.
So if i click “yes” in that Authentication option will i need a DVD to play
And i have the original SP and MP key.
If you have everything original than i dont understand why your trying to use a crack to be honest. id recommend you to go to the official website and ask for support there since you got a legal game anywayz.

I get an error:

Ive downloaded both versions and i get the same error. I don’t really know what you mean by: one is a .rar version and one is the full thing. The top version is still just an iso but with an .nfo and .jpg as well. Neither of the two versions are zipped except for all the .cab files inside.
Also, what is meant by step 2? Does that mean i have to unzip the .cab files inside the iso?

You will have to redownload since you have a corrupted file.
step 2 means that you have to extract the iso from the rar files, if you have those. (its optional)

Ok, I’ve followed every step of this – still, I can’t get the “MELEE BUTTON” to work.
No matter when I map the action, or to what button I map it to.
Melee and Jump doesn’t work..
Even tried to re-install and do it all over again.
And yes, my computer is more then capable enough of running this game in max settings.
Anyone else still got this problem?
Did you follow step 12 exactly as stated??
When starting up the game you first need to set the Melee attack button. Go to options, and assign a key for the “MELEE BUTTON”, the V button is fine for this as you will have a gun later, and you only need to kill the first enemy with your knife. once set start the game, kill the enemy and jump off the boat using spacebar.

every time i finish the snowblind level (when I get in to chopper from roof top) the game exits to my desktop. anyone have the same problem, or know how to fix it. I have it fully updated to newest version, every thing works great till I get on the chopper, then the game shuts down. no error message. my computer meets and passes the Minimal system requirements, I tried it on win 7 ultimate 32bit, then win vista home basic 32bit, but get the same problem each time.
I downloaded Battlefield.Bad.Company.2-RELOADED iso. I have used several different cracks, and copied all files as instructed, but still stops in the same spot every time.

so i’m having a problem.
i follow the steps exactly, to a T, and then when i get all the way done i open the game up and run it. it starts to run the updater, and asks me if i want to update to the latest version. i have to, otherwise i can’t play, so i click yes. it downloads fine but at the end it says it can’t move the tempPatch to the battlefield folder and it gives me some junk error message.
has anyone else had a problem with this?
I also had the very same problem. Steps taken were:
#1 Remove the game
#2 Reinstall it but do not apply the crack
#3 Perform the updates
#4 Apply the crack, but keep the original files someplace else
Since I had not kept the original files on the first install, I don’t know if restoring them and then performing the update also works.
This worked for me, under Windows 7 x64. Another install, under Vista 32bits didn’t ask for updates.

I have a problem starting the game. I installed it successfully although it asks me for a registration code which I do not have. I followed your directions but I am stuck with this problem and I have no idea how to get a registration code. I did update when it asked me too because I did not have a second disk, so I picked the second option which was online verification and I had to update because there was no other way to continue. Downloaded it from tpb, installed after burning iso to disk, put the crack files in place, chose disk authentication and updated it to last version. After that, put the crack files again in folder. then it asks me for the cd-wrong cd shit.
Can I run it without updating to the last version and how do I solve the problem? installing with online authentication?

Hello! I’ve followed all the instructions, I’ve installed and copied everything (including the crack, textfiles, etc…) and when I run the game, it’s all fine. But once I start a new campaign, and the intro screen with the text appears, after a few seconds it just disappears and brings me back to the desktop. I’ve seen multiple people who have said the same thing; crashing after the intro screen, but I’ve found no solutions. Been trying very hard. Can anyone suggest anything I could try?
i have the same problem too but my game freezes at the same time and i dont crash to desktop, i googled for a long time but couldnt find anything i am pawned.
i got something which can help but i cant find a proper link to it.
the reloaded v1.1 patch might fix our problems but u have to help me find this patch or if anyone know where to find it.

simply repair your windows and try again if it doesn’t work then reinstall the windows and try to not install that programs which causes this error.
i have faced “msvcrt.dll” error but after removing that program and reinstalling windows give me freedom from this error and i tried once more but due to my ram= 1gb it does not run. after increasing the ram i’ll try……….
if you have 2 gb or more then the game will run after the reinstalling windows.

Okay well my game loads perfectly but when i start my new campaign it says that 1944 crap and on the third set of words about halfway through it starts to go REALLY slow and and after “And this is what happened that day…” nothing pops up? What’s wrong and how can i fix it?

ok i got this game for a friend but the game doesn’t work on her comp, but using the exact same file i can get it to work on mine. her specs are all well above the minimum. what happens is when you hit the icon to start the game a pure white window opens up then goes away like normal on mine, but on hers the window just disappear and nothing else happens. and if you try to open it again the white window doesn’t even show up

please I have a problem mentioned here already before, but I can’t find any answer, I am running Win7 32 bit, downloaded ISO version from pirate bay 2x and when I mount it both with Alcohol 52/Daemon tools, I can never start the installation process. It always asks me for a permission in firewall, I confirm it, but then just a black terminal window flashes and that’s it, can’t see even any message…

when you mount the image file which is the disk onto either poweriso or daemon tools. open the disk file and you will see alot of winrars file and there are a folder named Crack. all the files are in there. Good luck

I installed the game and copied the files from the crack folder into the installation folder but when I run Battlefield Bad Company 2, it asks me for the serial I used before. I click continue and it does nothing. It keeps popping back the same screen.

Ive got this same install on disk. However the c3.cab is missing. No..not corrupt but missing.
It would be a great help if someone can upload it.(please do it..PLEASE) I dont want to download the whole game due to certain limitations at the moment.

Try going to the folder you installed the game and look for the file binkw32.dll, then copy it to C:\Windows\System

I am running into problems with the updater. I open the game and it says I have to update to play. When I click no it closes (I was told I didn’t need to update) but when I click yes it updates for an hour or so then gives me an error message.
Disable your network on pc and everything will be fine.
yea thats right.. i know that problem before i install it…. so during the installation progress my choice is offline mode… not online

i downloaded the game (battlefield 2) from iso torrent files. i also downloaded the master keygen of e a games. i installed the game, but when i started the games it is asking to insert the disk/cd to run the installation. please suggest me the right option.

I got the DVD for this game, but the most annoying thing in the world happened….the DVD has an almost invisible scratch and the files affected are 2 files in the ‘Support’ folder which altogether is about 10kb, so it’s impossible for me to install the game, cos when it gets to a spot, it stops and asks for the 2 files, which am sure are irrelevant. Only if anyone can send me these files or the folder they are in which is, if you open the main game folder (not the installed folder destination), you’ll see a folder ‘Support’ and in that folder ‘EA Help’…the files are in ‘en-us’ folder, which is in the ‘EA Help’ folder…the entire ‘en-us’ folder is about 1.3mb only…Anyone please? email is: agbonidi2@gmail.com

yea you have to increase your ram memory…. you still can play the game but you dont want to see whats happening on your screen during the game play… take the extra RAM on your computer

everything worked fine until the end it says I need to put in a confirmation code or like a registration code when I load up the game
hmmm, lets know the problem…. you got the bf bd 2 yea…? from a download or CD/DVD installation…?
taken from downloading…? of course ask to the support center of the site….
or
from cd/dvd…? maybe it listed on the white box or try to ask to the customer services….!

I am having problem in going multiplayer. It requires login after loging in it asks for cd key whch entered and then it prompts Unable to login try again later. This problem shows every time I try to log in. Plz help..!
I have this same problem. I was able to get it running but when i log in it opens a window in-game and says that i need a serial key. I have no idea how to get one. Please help me. Much appreciated

i installed,put the crack, and when i played the game the screen got black.?…
i think your game was crashed. your computer specification cannot handle the game, because the game needs a better specifitaion than your may be…
