Downloading
Downloading Bioshock 2 can be done using torrents, heres a direct download link a good torrent on thepiratebay.
Start your download and wait for it to finish. You need the following package aswell, this contains: Crack and missing files
- BioShock 2 - Crack + Missing File (9.7 MiB, 940 hits) - Registration required.
Installation & Cracking
- Make sure your pc has the minimal system requirements.
- Extract the image by opening the first file i.e rzr-bio2.001 with winrar and extract to anywhere
- Mount the iso file using daemon tools. (or burn it on a dvd)
- Run the installation, and finish it
- Open the Crack & missing file rar you got from us
- Open the “missing file” folder, copy “Bioshock2Launcher.exe” and paste it into your installation folder
- Open “Razor1911″ -> “Crack” directory, copy the “MP” and “SP” folders, and paste them into your installation folder
- Start the game –> [InstallationDir]\SP\Builds\Binaries\Bioshock2Launcher.exe
- When the game has loaded there are two possibilities:
- If you already have a windows live account and have signed into it before, the game will automatically sign you in into offline mode
- If you dont have an account, hit create an account, scroll down until you see the “create a local profile” link and create it
- You should now be logged into the offline acc. and be able to play and save the game!

Hey, thanks for the explanation, but I can’t seem to get this thing working. I’ve tried running three different Bioshock downloads, but they all end in the same problem: when I’ve put the cracks in the dir’s and everything and I hit the BioshockLauncher.exe or the Bioshock.exe, my computer is loading, and then nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Can you do the following for me:
1. run BioshockLauncher.exe or the Bioshock.exe
2. wait a while
3. press ctrl + alt + del
4. do you see it in the proces list?
Did you download the crack file we provide? because that contains the files missing from most downloads…
ive got the same problem and when i press it, it comes up on the processes but nothing happens help

I tried it several times, but it doesn’t show up in the proces list. I also tried to download the crack you provided, but it says I don’t have permission to that file/link. But I did try several other different cracks from other forums etc, but they all have the same problem.

4. select the serial and insert it.

Thats a system file
and you dont have it!
get it here: binkw32.dll download
Download that and follow these steps:
1. Extract the .dll-file to a location on your computer. We recommend you to unzip the file to the directory of the program that is requesting the file. If that doesn’t work, you will have to extract the file to your system directory. By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP, Vista, 7).
2. Make sure overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).
3. Reboot your computer.
If the problem still occurs, try the following:
1. Press Start and select Run.
2. Type CMD and press Enter (or if you use Windows ME, type COMMAND).

Thanks for that now that i have that fixes something else pops up it says The Procedure entry point _BinkSetMemory@8 Could not be located in the dynamic link libary binkw32.dll. if you have any idea of what this means please tell me
redownload binkw32.dll and copy paste it into your bioshock 2 installation directory, that helps some times!
You might have to install the software which provides the binkw32.dll not sure what that is though

Need help. Downloaded bioshock proper reload torent, installed the game and cracked it. The game opens fine, press the new game in game menu but after the loading I press space to continue and game blocks. Press crt alt del, and says: problem coused program to stop working. Tried it several times on low graf. and not helping. My sistem requirements mach but have 2GB memory on windows 7. Do I need more memory or something else? (copied and replaced all files from crack folder mp&sp to game mp&sp)

Help! When i mount the first image and install the game it says i have the wrong disc inserted so I pressed cancel is that right? Then i downloaded the crack and missing files so when opened the missing file folder, Im not sure where to copy the “Bioshock2Launcher.exe” application but i know it has to go to the installation folder but where is that? Is the installation folder the download file, or the rar file for rz-bio2? Please help me out on this so I can get to this next step!!!

Alright, My Steps:
Install Bioshock 2
Copy Files over
Put Missing File in respective Folders
Double click on Bioshock 2 Lancher
Razor 1911 Logo appears and Jingle sounds
Loading
Then nothing
Nothing in services, nothing in processes, etc. I suspect that it may have something to do with Windows Live not working on this computer for some reason. Not sure why, but I am not even able to use Live Messenger. I have a legitimate copy of Windows Vista.

Yes, I did a search on my computer and when I tried launching Games for Windows Live Directly, it crashed.
Ah well thats most likely the reason than… because you need a xlive (windows live) account…
so the problem is most likely not the game, but the fact that you cant use windows live… i suggest looking into that! if you want help, start a forum thread and we can see what we can do.

I am still having the wrong disc inserted problem…
The torrent I used was “BIOSHOCK.2.PROPER-RELOADED”
I mounted the .iso with Daemon Tools, Waited for the installation to finish, then put Bioshock2launcher.exe from missing files into the Bioshock2 folder (C:\Program Files\2K Games\Bioshock 2) then overwrittten the MP and SP folders over the original ones that were in the Bioshock 2 folder. Tried to launch the game from SP\Builds\Binaries\Bioshock2launcher.exe but it gives the wrong disc inserted error message.
Help would be appreciated ><

…How do I mount an image? I only know to mount a .iso file but I dunno what it means by mount an image. When I launch the launcher in Bioshock 2 folder, it says that it has encountered an error and needs to close.
the .iso is a cd image file.
what error does it encounter? did you replace it with the provided Bioshock2launcher.exe?

Yes I replaced it with the provided launcher from the “Missing file” folder. When I launch it, it says SecuROM launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. I also replaced the MP and SP folders with the 2 folders that you have provided in the download. (The 2 files were originally there but I replaced them with the new files.)

Ha, nvm… I figured it out also. I was trying to unpack via 7-Zip. It worked opening through Winrar instead.
I tried 7-Zip, WinRar, Universal-Extractor, you name it. The POS kept coming back with the broken file message.
I’m off to dl KaOs 2.46Gb version. It’s gotta be better than the 8 Gigs of crap that just took me 3 days to download.
Yeah id recommend to redownload indeed than, make sure you do a hash check when its done to make sure no files have been corrupted

Ok heres my prob i followed all the steps for the missing bink32 file and still i get the error message _BinkSetMemory@8
i had to uninstall my previous bioshock version because all that would come up on the start up was Sign in and return to windows
Alright follow these steps (works 99% sure)
If that does not work, try updating your video card drivers.
how do you unistall it ? is there a program to do it :S

Right click any of the files, and select “Open with…” Than select winrar in the list, and check the checkbox below to always open this file type using winrar.
than close winrar again, and you should be able to right click any of the files and select “Extract here”

4. Redownload binkw32.dll

i did that, it didnt work. then i tried to do it with CMD…it said “the module “binkw32.dll” may not compatable with the version of Windows that you are running. Check if the module is compatable with an x86(32bit) or a x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe”

if you didnt continue, can you do it again and continue and see if it simply works?

The “pt” in the link means that it is a portuguese translated site, because this message appears in portuguese.

hello all im compleatly stuck with my bioshock 2 game it installed fine and at first ran fine i already had a windows live account so i signed in as normal then windows live tells me there is an update and if i dont install the update it wont let me sign in thus not letting me save my games so after this update now and after a restart i get the securom problem saying wrong disc inserted i use alcohol 120% iv tryed it with emulators off and on and ive even tryed running as admin and iv tryed launching from different places with the same problem or itl tell me to run the launcher i used the razor download and i have a cd working in it so any ideas anyone i run vista and i my specs are above recommended just annoys me that it worked 1st time round then comes an update and poof securom problem anyways any help is much appreciated

hi thanks for all the replyes i got the game working yesterday and i found that it is more stable on my windows 7 ultimate 64bit than vista 32bit and i have found that just before the screeen goes black and drops to desktop ac3 filter pops up and then dissapiers after adjusting ac3 filter as in installing a newer version then tweeking it to the correct sound settings everything started working fine just next time i gotta remember to turn my gpu cooler fans up but yeh good game in 1080i
ac3 filter was the problem for me the cracks turned out to be ok hope this helps anyone with trouble shooting
my system speks are not fantastic but just to let u know anyway if it helps

The game works great. Thanks!! Just one thing. I try to log into the windows live and when i log in it asks me for a product key and tells me that it is the only way to save the game. Any way to get around that. Or can you give me a link for a keygen or something. Any help would be great!
Sign in for an offline account, or any other windows live account you have. it shouldnt ask you for a serial so id advice you to walk through all the steps again…

But now after the first scene where the big daddy shoots itself, and the interactive game-play is about to start, the sound gets sketchy and the game freezes. My computer exits out, says the game is still running and I can hear the sound, but no longer get back to the game.

Finally working, just need to sign into my live account now, recovering password for that. The problem I had was wasn’t using the files provided here, which actually work! Also I didn’t paste the launcher into the C:\Program Files\2K Games\BioShock 2\SP\Builds\Binaries directory. Once you’ve copied the Bioshock2Launcher.exe there then run it and it loads the .exe.

Well I installed the game but I don’t have internet hooked up to my pc which means I can’t do the whole login thing, is there any way to get around this? Game wont launch without logging in

hey i have the same problem as many had… i run the program but nothing happened.. wen i try and run it by administrator den it asks for password.. i dont kno wat the password is… can any body help plz??

i have a problem…i downloaded the game from reloaded (proper one) and i played it. at half of mission 2 i pressed Esc to save and it game me an error(the screen with send and dont send buttons) and now i cant use my savegame cuz my game dont start with it in folder…what should i do? thank you

the problem is solved …i started the game again without pressing Esc in that area….now works fine…

Firstly, I want to thank you guys. This guide was a huuuuuge help in dl’ing this awesome game. After countless hours of my failing, I got everything installed, and the game is running. But now I need a product key to sign in to my Windows Live ID, which I don’t really have. I checked pretty much every file. The only thing I could find that could possibly be a key gen or something of the sort is the file under C:\BioShock_2-Razor1911\SP\Builds\Binaries called Bioshock2, but that won’t open, because “bink32.dll is missing”. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
SAME! so then i downloaded the “bink32.dll” file and now its saying that there is another file missing D: and when i try to run the gamei get a wrong disk error, please reply ! D:

does anyone has a problem when you first start the game it works fine, but when you save it or after a while it sudenly crashes.. and evrytime u launch the game and u see the wl login screen it crashes, i know u can fix it by deleting the save game.
but if u play it again it crashes after a while
its a common problem what is fixed in 1.0.0.1 patch
nobody has a crack for the patch or it is a fake
so what should i do??
btw my specs are
windows 7 64 bit
3.4 ghz quad core amd
4 GB Memory
Asus 5850 AtI 1000 MB DDR5

Hi guys!
I already installed this game once, with theese great links and with the lot of help, but now i got a new computer.. and new computer means new problems
so this is my problem:
I created an off-line account and at first time it worked great. Next day when i started the game and wanted to login the game crashed. And again and again, but only when i wanted to log in. So after lot of tries and suffer i figured out how to log in without crash – but if i want to save and press ESC it crashes like the first time. I’ve already reinstalled the game and another release too but neither are worked with all type of cracks. I searched for some patches to solve the problem but i didn’t find any.
I desperately want to play this game without much success, please help me if you have any idea.

Sup guys,
I just DL’d the razor repack and have been having trouble with getting the game to run. I have poured through almost this entire forum but nothing has worked so far. I have updated the SP and MP folders and replaced the Bioshock2Launcher everywhere it can be replaced. When I run the launcher the razor image and jingle comes on but then says that bink32.dll cannot be found. I folled instructions on this forum and reinstalled the game replaced all the folders again and placed bink32.dll in the games folder and my windows system folder. Now the razor image comes up and disappears when i run the launcher but then nothing happens. no error message or anything. There is nothing running in the task manager either. I am running windows vista 32. 7950GTX video card.

Same problem here.
Also have to add that when i run the game 1-st time ever it did work. I didn’t login in to windows live that time tho so i quit to create an account and wasn’t able to run the game ever since. I can’t get games for windows running either coz when i dl it, it wants to dl ID sign-in assistant which install ends up prematurely coz of error.
Tried reinstalling the game many times = no changes.

I did this and it told me I had the wrong disc. I then replaced the Bioshock2Launcher.exe with the one in the download and it worked. Error or vagueness in the instructions or did I do something wrong the first time?
You probably did not crack correctly, make sure to follow all steps.

Holy SHIT this is so annnoyyyyyyyyyiiiiiiiing OMFG. I downloaded the full game first the KAOS version (compressed 2.8gigabyte one) but that one is a pile of shit because the installer fails at the end of installation due to some wierd “this file blah blah not found etc 00000350386306″. SO i download a nice 8gigabyte one, filled with wierd .001 and .003 files, took me like 10minutes to find out how to convert those into isos and once i had that when i fucking mount the image, the Bioshock 2 setup thing comes up AND THE FKING INSTALL BUTTON IS NOT CLICKABLE. Only the play is clickable WTFF??? So i mount it again and choose “open folder to view files” instead of running the autorun.exe, and in there i find a setup.exe file which installs the game apparently. so i do that, and i get the crack (33mb one) and i copy everything, and it says fucking “securem failed to launch ERROR 2000″ or some fucking bullshit like that.
So i download the missing file AND THE SAME THING KEEPS HAPPENING……. but SOMEHOW MULTILPLAYER VERSION WORKS. but in the SP every stupid time RAZOR 1911 JINGLE JINGLE SECUREM FAILED TO OMFGG.
So apparently their multiplayer crack works, but i can’t start single player. fucking great. anybody has the same problem?

For all those looking for the product code when you are on LIVE – you DON’T need it. You simply cancel out of that Microsoft page which asks for the code back to the game and play offline. Hope this helps.
