Hello,
I installed Dragon Age Origins-Awakening last summer and I don’t have the disk. While I I was trying to figure out how to get by without the error went from requiring a disk to not being able to find the DA launcher. I have the serial if needed so what steps should i take?

okay so my friend gave me a version of this downloaded game but unfortunatly i only have macs and i couldn’t run the files. so i downloaded crossover which allows me to open pc files on a mac. i can install using a code but no dvd come ups. i got the contents of skidrow folder from my friend but i can’t find the bin_ship folder anywhere!!!!!

help please???

Hey!

I download the SKIDROW version of DA:O, and everything installed smoothly. However, when I click PLAY, an error comes up saying that the disc is not authenticated.
I have seen that I have to move some files from the SKIDROW file to the ship_bin folder, but here’s my problem: I can’t find the SKIDROW folder ANYWHERE!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dont get why but when I start the Install from ISO I allways get: Data error has occured… any ieads what i can do on it?

I’ve got a problem, I’ve downloaded and installed everything, with a little problem but I got by from reading what you have written above. But now I’m in game, and my character doesnt attack, the enemies doesn’t seem to hit me either.. my whole party is standing still doing nothing.. someone who had a similiar problem or is it just me? pls help me…

I’m having this problem as well. My story is pretty much the same as yours. It happened after I downloaded the fmod_event.dll. However, I also have Awakening installed. The game worked fine prior to installing it (and patching it). The second it was done, all this started happening.

I ve a problem with this game. I follow all the istructions but when i start the game a text appears: ¨ fmod_event.dll is missing¨ i dont know what to do.

Please, any help will be welcome.

Forget it, I figured it out. You have to disable the mouse trails. Thanks for the game! Awesome.

I downloaded and installed with no problem. The game seems to be working fine, with the exception of the fact that I cannot see my mouse pointer. I am using a laptop, but that shouldn’t make a difference, right? The touch pad should be the same as a mouse, unless I am mistaken. Do I need a mouse, or is there an easy fix for this error?

when i try and play (yes i copied the crack) its says “Failed to detect a supported video card.”

what should i do to get to play the game?

Getting an error. I extracted from the RAR, but no ISO came up. Instead I get a data folder, DirectX folder, software folder, and a Support folder. Aswell as autorun and set up. So I tried to mount the ISO folder itself to some sucess. But once I downloaded the fmod_event.dll (which the ship_bin folder already had) And placed it in the ship_bin folder and tried to run the game I get an error saying the Entry Point isn’t found. Specificaly the error is
“The Procedure entry point
?setCallback@Channel@FMOD@@QAG?AW4FMOD_RESULT@@W4FMOD_CHANNEL_CALLBACKTYPE@@P6G?AW43@PAUFMOD_CHANNEL@@0HII@ZH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library fmodex.dll.” As you can understand I have no no F’n clue as to what this means.
Pretty ready to just give up on the game.

Hi Miike,

What was the source of your DA Origins installation? Was it the torrents mentioned in this installation guide, and if so, did you mount and open the .iso with Daemon Tools?
