Appearantly nVidia video card (or at the very least mine) are very weird when it comes to games. i mean that i just updated my pc to windows 7 ultimate (64-bit). and now, it works. the video card still has issues (5-10 sec "freezes") but at least i can play the game(s) now. well, i figured out what my problem was, kinda. I tried running the mounted ISO again and still got the same message. I really have no idea what to do anymore. I just got this laptop and it has windows 7 which seems to be the OS of a lot of the people reporting errors. Any help would be graetly appreciated. I managed to run after some problems. When you move the crack to the binaries folder, you can't just open the cd directly as a zip file, you need to mount the cd and chose to open it... then you can move the crack and it will work just fine.
