Sims 3 Mods

Hi there, so you’re planning on modding your version of the Sims 3!
Now that’s a good idea, because it can make the game run allot smoother (aka performance increase) and make it more fun to play!

So so much for the introduction for now, and lets get to the modding part!
Make sure you grab the resource.cfg file as described below.

Before you start modding your version of Sims 3, your going to have to set up your game for modding, there is a file you’re going to have to download and place in your root folder so the mods work (some work without it, others don’t, so just install it.)

warning:
There already is a Resource.cfg file in another Sims 3 folder, do not touch or overwrite this file, because your game will no longer run if you do!

Get the file here: direct download

Installing:
1. Extract the rar file you downloaded
2. Copy “Resource.cfg” to your root folder (this usually is C:\\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3).
3.1 Now all that’s left to do is go to your root folder again, and create the following maps:
3.2 C:\\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods
3.3 C:\\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
4. get on to the next page and start modding!

nudity mod

The Sims 3 nude patch does exactly what you would think it should do…
it shows your Sims completely naked, so you will have a uncensored version of the game!Now you can create your Sims, name them, see them live, and even see their “private zones”.

Note: This mod just removes the censor squares, you won’t see any actual genitals.

Installing
The installation of this mod is very simple, simply copy the downloaded files to your root folder, this usually is:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
If not, that you installed in a different location, and you can find out by doing a right-click on your shortcut, clicking “properties” and see where the link leads you to.

No Build Sparkles mod

By installing this mod the sparkling stars you would normally see every time you build something or place a object will be removed, the main advantage of this is that it will seriously speed up the performance if you don’t have such a good PC. And also, the sparkles might just get annoying after playing for a while, witch is the main reason for me to use this mod.

No Zzz mod

This mod removes the Zzz’s above the head of your Sims when their sleeping.
Now they can sleep all night without bothering you with the notice that their sleeping (the Zzz’s)So basically this mod is just for the people that hate annoying things, or just want to make their Sims Experience a little bit more realistic!

More Career Money Mod

This mod allow es you to raise your Sims income, yes this is also possible by cheating (and than i mean getting the money). But with this mod you can just increase their base income, witch is more realistic as working is one of the main day filling activities of your Sims to allow them to buy new stuff!

No Intro Video Mod

This mod allow es the Sims 3 game to be modded so you don’t have to wait for the introduction movie to finish every time you start the game.From now on you can just skip the introduction movie so you can play the game even faster, and it just saves you waiting time! so just install it, because seriously, do you wanna watch the intro movie so many times? or was it fun for the first times?

Access Hidden traits Mod

A mod for the Sims 3 that allowes you to access hidden personality’s (traits) for your Sims.
It adds 8 hidden charismatics that you can’t access without this mod.The following traits are added:
Immune to fire – Your Sim cannot be harmed / killed by fire.
Clean – Your Sim will never make a mess of anything.
Thief – Your Sim can sneak to any place and steal things from other Sims.
Thief catcher – Your Sim can catch thief’s sneaking around when he has this personality.
Salute – Your Sim can Salute.
Pizza lover – Your Sim loves pizza so much that he will always gain extra points for eating pizza.
Rockstar – Your Sim THINKS hes a rockstar.

Debug Console Enabler

Using this mod on the Sims 3 allowes you to use a large list of commands. These commands are usually used by debuggers, but they can be pretty fun to use!Mainly, they allow you turn on and off options… witch are the following:
Commands:

testingCheatsEnabled Usage: testingCheatsEnabled [true|false]. Enables/disables testing cheats.
SaveSimAsLooseFile Sets the save sim mode. Usage: SaveSimAsLooseFile [true|false] or [1|0] (default is false)
ExportAsEAContent Exports content as EA content. Usage: ExportAsEAContent [true|false] or [1|0] (default is false)
ExportAsPaidContent Exports content as Paid content. Usage: ExportAsPaidContent [true|false] or [1|0] (default is true)
ShowInteractions Shows the names of the interactions above all the Sims’ heads
Select Select a particular sim
ShowMoreSocials Shows ‘More…’ socials if some do not fit on the top menu
quit Exits the game
RefreshDnP Re-loads static Dreams and Promises data
DnPOutputPrimitives outputs all DnP primitives so that they can be pasted into the dreamNames enum
AssertOnRetestingDnPNodes Sets the game to assert if the DnP System removes a node when it retests the visible ones

World commands:
kaching Adds $1000 to active household funds
motherlode Adds $50000 to active household funds
enablellamas Usage: enableLlamas [on|off]
hideHeadlineEffects Usage: hideHeadlineEffects [on|off]. Shows or hides talk/thought balloons above Sim heads
resetDnP resets the dreams and promises manager of the currently selected sim, using all will reset all sims in current house’s DnP managers
resetSim Usage: resetSim . Returns Sim to a safe, neutral state at their home location
familyFunds Usage: familyFunds . Sets family funds of named household
speed Usage: speed <0-4>. Sets game speed. 0 = paused, 4 = ultra speed through current action
ageuptonpc Usage: ageUpToNPC. Toggles option for toddler who is aging up to be a non-player-controlled Sim in the household
maptags Usage: mapTags [on|off]. Toggles map tags on and off. This is most noticeable in Map View
cleanhouseholds Cleans up non-instantiated Sims in all households (except for the Service household)

lifetimehappiness Adds 50000 spendable lifetime happiness points to the selected sim.
lookat only [on/off] – only run lookats for the actor currently selected. scores [on/off] – display lookat scores
killplantableobjects Deletes all ingredients and plantable non-ingredients in the world.

refreshhouseholdthumbnails [s,m,l,xl,all] Refreshes all of the world’s household thumbnails

esrbchecks [all|clothing|children] [on|off] turns periodic ESRB violation checks on or off. Assumes all if type omitted. Toggles if on/off omitted.
loginteractions Logs all interactions on all Sims to the InteractionQueue channel.
findsimwithoutfit [instanceId] Finds Sim with given outfit
showbroadcast Toggles debug draw of all gameplay broadcasters. Usage: showbroadcast

zoom Camera zooms to the specified object id.
storyprogression Sets the story progression mode. Usage: storyprogression <Disabled|Enabled|Accelerated>

exterminate Kills random Sims.
spawn Creates random Sims.
debugSocial true/false turns social debugging on and off
killobject Deletes a game object. Usage: killobject {object id}
routedebuglog Toggles the route debug log on/off. You can also turn it off or on explictly by passing parameter “on” or “off”. Usage: routedebuglog ["on" or "off"]
DisplayLotPackageFileName on/off – switches lot tooltips on and off
money Sets family funds of the selected Sim. Usage: ‘money’ gives $1000000, ‘money <number>’ gives $number.
purgegenealogy Purges distant genealogy relations
logobjects Logs all objects on the current or specified lot. Usage: logobjects [lot]
stressreset Stresses resetting an object. Usage: stressreset [objectId]
resetservicenpctraits Iterates through the current service NPC sims and resets their traits. Usage: resetservicenpctraits
babyboom Adds a baby and a toddler to every household in the world.
