@spamme There are a couple reasons why this doesnt have multi.
A- Us hacker programmers cant crack the direct ip/LAN connections when theres nothing to crack. Blizzard hasnt put out the option and probably wont until the end version.
B-Blizzard has had tons of experience with hackers and if what ive heard is true, this wardens slightly better and smarter (Basicly this new one is average. Old warder was RETARDED.)

when patching updates, taking a very long time… is this normal?

k so the game flashes like hell making it almost unuseble and doesn’t the crack make it so I do not have to fill in a battle.net acc? and for the flashing, it starts flashing as soon as it is loading and ends when I press quit -.-

After I press launch it loads and after the loading bar fills it flashes then I can see that planet with the ring for line 2 sec and it crashes

The launcher updates repeatedly and I cannot get it to stop. It gave me an error once, but the window closed before I could read it. So then it goes back to updating again immediately after it finishes.

weird. it worked yesterday! now it says “unable to open map”

This may not be a related issue to the above, but when I run the launcher and the game loads, my computer screen comes up blank saying “Input Not Supported.”

I don’t mean to be an amateur about this but am I doing something wrong?

when i am updating, at patch 10 it says “your computer is hiding behind a firewall”
so i disabled mcafee completley and killed it, and it still wont work.

I dl everything, and i lunch sc2ALLin1, i pick a map and difficult. But when i press lunch, it show this erro to me: “file was not found”, what should i do? =(

either i sunhap, when i press lunch it seem to work becouse it open the game and finish the green bar progress but when it finished it crash in ErrorReport,

Demon, do you plan on making a crack for Starcraft 2 the game, not the beta??

Hey I am getting a error message from SC2ALLin1 saying, “I can’t read this map! If its a custom made map by you, you must have correct player properties, start locations etc. to be recognized as a compatible melee map!”—I never made any maps, all I have done is follow the instructions on here. Unless I have missed something??? It also gives another error message right after, “Could not find file Gamestrings.txt” Any suggestions?

The Starcraft II Editor will not recognize any of the maps. I tried opening up some downloaded Starcraft II maps, but the editor won’t see any of the maps. I also tried right clicking the map file and “open with” the editor, but that won’t work either.

Does the map editor work for you?

This isnt working for me i have vista and requirements easily met but when i start the game there are no units or buildings just the fog of war over the entire map

Hey demon… I can play the game perfectly fine but there’s just one huge problem. It seems “laggy” throughout the game and Im not even using the internet. The units don’t move very smoothly; there is a delay in the way they move. And sometimes, it would say “Please close other applications to improve performance” and yet I closed all other application and still it would display so. I tried lowering down the graphics quality but still the performance is still slow. I don’t know if it’s the computer/video card, but it’s been bugging me. Can you please help? This is the only problem i’ve got. Thank you.

Hello. I can’t make the SC2 all in one v9.4.0 (downloaded 5 minutes ago) to open some game replays which are downloaded from http://www.gamereplays.org like TvZ Top Platinum back and forth. I have the map which is from official pack. Any ideea why is not working ? I have also tried the modified battlenet and cache thing also not working ….. thanks.

You could either try re-installing SC2. Or just play with the version you have.

i followed the instruction and installed SC2 and the ALLin1 v9.4.0

now my problem is that when press launch from ALLin1, launcher comes out and then disappears.

I put in on Administrator, I reinstalled it, re-downloaded it, but still same problem.

Yeh I figured out a really weird yet maybe helpful thing after u fully install the game and the crack and all the other extras if the loader doesnt work or when u click launch and the load gets the near done then suddenly stops all you do is restart you computer and also the game sumtimes isnt ganan wona work if you have other programs on or if say u turn on ur msn for like afew mins then try to play the game it doesnt load at all.I hope it helps becuase it helped me the 1st few times now every time i want to play but it doesnt wona work just restart my computer and for some reason the game works again its strange.

And also somtimes if you launch the game thats probs cause you didnt load a map or dont evan have any maps currently loaded in ur crack you know the All in 1 program

when patching I keep getting “your computer is behind firewall” even though i’ve turned firewall and antivirus off.. cant finish patching cause of this, any solution?

Is there an AI that will keep attacking?.. the hard one I have now will stop after a few waves.

AHAH yeh the AI are crazy in medium they get there building and units so fast by the time i rush 1 barracks and 2 marines or protoss and zerg for that matter they already have a army of roaches or stalkers and zealots or marines and maruaders.Iv tryed so many diffrent builds and non are that good the only way iv stopped medium and over AI is where i rush collososs or really really fast roaches or stalkers with blink skill but mainly u need to scout whoever ur vsing if u just random ur enemy so u can see what they got so far but i just always rush barracks/warpgate/spawning pool and get any range type units apart from that the AI always beats you unless u counter really good anyways good talk

Oh one more thing for this whole crack/hack sc2 we all have auhh does it just offer YOU vs computer/AI or is there missions and lan im not sure so just wanted too ask thats all.Coz after i downloaded this over utorrent and checked that the game works which it does i gave my friend the site too download off too and he was asking me if lan works or missions.So here i am asking anyone who knows thanks.

can anyone helop me? when i try to launch with the all-in-one or if i just try to launch starcraft it blinks uncontrollably. it did this when i had to reinstall my operating system on my computer with the “old crack” too. it wont work becuase it just blink every 3 seconds. did anyone else have the same problem?

Hi there! I’m having a problem with the crack. I follow all the steps described here but when I press the “launch” button my screen turns black and all I see is the cursor, nothing else. Firstly I thought that the game was loading or something but no, I waited for several minutes and nothing happened. Please, help me!

I’ve downloaded the patch 12 a few times already, and it just keeps repeating. Anyone know how to fix this?

I’m having a problem with installing the All-in-One User Interface. When I attempt to run the All-in-One installer, I’m told it is not a valid Win32 application.

- I’m running a cracked Windows 7 (32 bit), which comes with .Net Framework 3.5 built in
- I’ve tried installing .Net Framework 3.5 and it told me I needed to activate it through my Program Features in the control panel
- I’ve activated the .Net Frameworks like I was told, but it hasn’t solved the problem
- I’ve tried to install .Net Framework 4 but it failed to install
- I’ve tried running the All-in-One installer as an administrator, and with different compatibility modes, without success
- I’ve tried looking for Windows updates that update my .Net Framework, but couldn’t find any

The Starcraft II Beta worked fine when I had a much earlier version of the Beta client and was using a different launcher (I believe it was the one from the older cracked Starcraft II Beta guide)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I having problems playing the game with AI. Everything launches/installed fine but the instant I start a game it tells me that I’ve won. This is because no AI’s a present in the game and I’m the sole palyer. Can anyone help me with this?

My game works perfectly fine. My recent replays work fine, I just can’t get replays i download to work. I have downloaded the patch 11 cache files and put them in the folder specified and every time i try to play a replay it either goes to a blank screen with my mouse pointer on it, and just sits there till i forcibly close the program .. or it says “unable to open replay” error after loading up. What is the problem? Did I do something wrong?

i seen that i cant point the all in one installer where the maps are, it auto runs. is that my problem?

works great! thank-you. The only thing was waiting for all the patch downloads from blizzard. That took over an hour. just so you all know. the Starcraft 2 client keeps downloading over and over. You can see your progress by going into the Update folder. cheers!

The Allin1 launcher keeps launching the principal .exe file, that brings the game to patch untill it reaches patch 12.1, will it work anyways?

Got a problem guys, i launched the launcer, clicked launch but then the screen gone black. I played normally untill then. Before i launched the game and the patch update began downloading patch 13, but it didn’t even start to download, and the Play button was lighted, so i clicked on it and i got the error of up here. btw I have a question.. as it was patching up I noticed that each patch creates its folders on /version folder.. as it creates a folder an 800 mb file was placed inside.. and the size was increasing as it updates

my question is is it safe to delete those old patch folder and keep the recent one to save 6 gb of my space?.. i suppose the recent one was the only one needed and the things in the updates folder

I run it and everything but none of the bases show up and i have the .SC2Data files but i don’t know what to do with them… I am running on a map and everything loads perfectly except for the bases. Help, Please!

I cant watch replays, except from games i’ve played. When I try to watch a someone else’s replay it always gives black screen with just the cursor showing (have to alt f4). i’ve downloaded the cache and put it in the right place too. Help please!

Need help…i did it all as the web says and when I click the “launch” button it starts the sc2 beta launcher and starts to dl a “new patch”…it says “no problemn detected”, then it says “preparing to apply the new patch” and the sc2 shuts down…i onle remains the SC2allin1 opened…and everytime i click launch goes all over the same shit again.

I tried to reinstalling the whole thing and carefully follow the steps, but nothing…the same thing still happens…

In the version folder that is located in the SC2 installation folder i have 3 sub-folders:
- Base13891
- Base14093
- Shaders852121

I’m getting a bit of a weird problem. Installed everything fine first time. Beta installed fine, took about 2 hours for all the updates to finish downloading. Installed the Allinone application in its default location no problem. Started up the App, pointed it to maps, chose a map, starting race so on and so forth yada yada, played a game for about 5 minutes to test it out, all worked fine. Went to bed as it was about 7 am by that time (another story) got up today and went to play it and it doesn’t want to…

The ‘Allinone’ launcher loads up and all the menus work within the app, when i go to launch the actual game the ‘starcraft II Beta’ little splash screen comes up in the middle of the screen and my CPU kicks into action, the first core runs at about 85/90%, the starcraft II beta process also runs but the computer doesn’t state that the beta’s .exe is running. (if i set the beta client to run as administrator it does but in a ‘non responsive state’.)

The computer stays in this state indefinitely (re: the game doesn’t load up at all). If i click the little splash screen beta client logo in the middle of the screen it ‘whites out’ and i am prompted to either close the application or wait for it to respond. Waiting does nothing.

I have tried completely removing all traces of both the ‘installed’ beta application and the installation of the allinone application. I have also removed the relevant registry entries after un-installation of both using a non intrusive registry cleaner.

After re-booting the computer i have re-installed first the beta client, to which the client ‘doesn’t’ download the updates this time, causing me to think that the patch updates have been installed somewhere on the computer other than the default installation directory that isn’t anywhere in the AppData subdirectory, nor the Users subdirectory as i have manually removed all relevant traces already, where i did not spot any easily noticable ‘patch’ update looking files/folders. I may be overlooking these though.

After a complete re-installation of all i need to i have tried to boot up the beta client itself, to which it does boot up and prompts me to input battle.net account details, which is fine, this shows me the client actually boots past the initial splash screen.

When trying to run the client through the allinone application i am given the same issue that caused me to re-install the client. After trying to run the game through the allinone application, trying to run the beta client from its own .exe, (that worked after a fresh install before i started up the allinone application for the first time again), no longer works, this only happens ‘after’ i have tried to boot it up through the allinone application.

so now the game no longer boots up and becomes ‘non responsive’ no matter how i try to boot it up, allthough it worked the first time before the allinone application tried to speak to it.

I believe i require some technical help to overcome this issue. Please review my situation as stated in this message and provide any possible technical advice. Thanks!

So what is the state on version 15?… Demon i thank you for your apport… this game is epic… and cracking it is just great….

I stopped the patching at version 0.7.0.14356 (i get pissed off at blizzard for their stupid patching system and Bnet support, ran the Allin1, select my map folder, select the map to play, choose my race, difficulty, and launch… sends me to the patch download window again… i disconnect internet, run Allin1, launch game, bar fills up, Saturn like planet appears and immediately crashes… i read almost all comments and though i see that those with the same problem found a solution it was a on previous versions of the game.
If somebody could instruct me i would be pleased.

Ok i eliminated Allin1 and i will finish patching… i used ccleaner to get rid of registered information… once the game has patch to 15 i will reinstall allin1 and retry…

Hi guys, I just followed step 1-6, downloaded everything from patch1-16, then tried launching….

but then here comes the blizzard launcher cycling over and over with “Preparing to download new patch” “Writing interface data into blahblah” “Migrating miscellaneous data into patch.SC2Archive” … and it keeps adding whatnot data into the folder where I installed SC2… I hope you could give me some tips on how to make this thing work from that point >_<

Hm… patch 15 won’t let me play. Maybe I’ll have to wait till July until they have open beta again…

I’m wondering if there’s any other AI packs that don’t have a stupidly high spawn rate. i’m finding playing against this AI even on easy really hard, I’m new to starcraft but i’ve got down getting spawns out as fast as possible using a build order practice map i found, but the AI still has loads more enemies than me when i try to push at them. Turtling doesn’t seem to work either. If the idea is to be able t oout build your enemy by agroing their econ while expanding yours, how can you have more enemies than the AI if they have a blatant hack to spawn faster than you can/have min/gas income boost? Even turtling to tech up to enemies that are stronger then theirs doesn’t seem to work as you havn’t got enough higher tech to counter their weaker enemies by the time they push. I keep getting totally rinsed.

This AI isn’t ‘noob’ friendly. I’ve tried playing on ‘blizzard very easy’ but thats a fuckin push over and the jump from ‘blizzard very easy’ to ‘starcrack easy’ AI is soooo much of a leap in difficulty due to the hacks the starcraft AI have in terms of min/gas boost and/or spawn rate.

Are there any different ‘noob friendly’ AI packs?

Even after i put the Ai in the correct folder and do all that right, the comps still suck and hardly build anything. even on insane difficulty. im positive i did everything right, just the AI seems like its bugged for some reason. any help?

anyways is there going to be any support to custom maps (the ones that arent like blizzards for example tower defense hero defence etc.)

I have 2 questions… First how do i watch replays?, atm i cant (Bar loads, keeps loading then it crashes)…
And how do i load a particular map in the SC2 editor?

Blizzard seems to have a bug in the game about watching replays. I can get some to work and others don’t. None of mine work, but one with Sen in it seemed to work.

Ok another question… How come you can go around login secutrity, input the information for an AI faking what supposedly would be an actual player with an iinternet input, and not being able to actually allow another player, lan, to make their input, instead of the AI?

I cannot understand how “Starcrack AI pack (cheating edition) (v7.0)” works. it says to unpack the files in a specific directory and then modify the difficulty by editing a galaxy file.. but how do i select it from the launcher ?

Ok then. How can i play multiplayer with LAN ?

Whats with the huge difference between Hard and Insane AI? I’ve got to a point now where i can right from the off contain Hard AI into its base and take down any of the beginnings of expos that they might be trying to put up while massing units from taking over the map with various expos and run in for the rape.

When it comes to Insane AI even with a 6 pool ( I play Zerg) they get their natural up so frickin fast and even WITH a fast expo they’ve got more units than i can make before i can make enough to counter them so they push off any attack i might try on their expo, even when i’m microing and prioritising units to help with the agro push on the expo, i can’t take down the natural and am forced to push back more defensively and protect my expos, which they inevitably take down as their unit production is loads more than mine even if i have map majority!

So i’m at the point where Hard AI is not fun as its to easy and Insane is not fun as its WAY to hard….

Is there any plans of making an AI addon that doesn’t have blatant resource hacks and crazy quick unit production?

I did what the instructions read … it lauches the update window evertime and keeps repeating the blizzard update 15 download, over and over . Allin1 just launches the update window to do the same thing and manually installing the patch 15 doesnt stop this . Frustrated any help or should

Guys i have lil problem ive done step 1,2,3,4,5,6 but i cant do the 7 step. i have installed the SC2ALLin1_setup966 to the recommended folder [that is : C:\Program Files\Starcraft II BetaSC2ALLin1].

Then ive downoaded tha maps from this site provided and put them into the folder called: C:\Users\Alan Kovac\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Maps

Then i want start the SC2ALLin1 shortcut on my desktop, but when i start it messege will appear :

Cant load your settings! You may have deleted my default directories! Delete the settings file and retry, or reinstall tha application!

Then i click ok button and then another messege appears:

again i click ok button, and another messege saying:

I get black screen with sc2 cursor and it stay black forever. Cursor work fine . No error massage. Any idea?

Well, I did everything right and, when I launch it after putting up all my settings from the SC2ALL launcher, everything goes black and all I see is the SC2 cursor, and nothing happens. What’s wrong?

I have the same problem using the StarCrack Allin1 Launcher. Running on a vista with specs that meet the requirements for the beta. Installed following instructions above. Tried re-installing, running in safe mode, turning off anti-virus and firewall. No Luck.

I did however get it to load successfully using Lazy Launcher v2.0:

When i luanch the game all it does is open a black screen and the cursor sits in the middle nothing else happens. Did i install it wrong or what? someone help please because im very keen to play SC2.

hey, ive done everything you mentioned above in regards to the installation and cracking of the game.. however, when i open SC2. it just says there that i need an account for battle.net… i just wanna play custom game where i can verse AI.. how can i do that? there seems no option to go to custom game.

Yes it seems I have the same black screen issue. Installed the Beta client. Executed the beta client. No patches come down. The music is wonderful though… takes me back. Downloaded and installed the all-in-one interface and loaded all AI and Maps into it. Launch the AIO interface setup a game, when it tries to run I see a StarCraftII splash screen, then it goes black only showing the mouse pointer. I had client ver 13 so I upgraded to 14, then 15 then 16. All show same problem. I think the root of the problem is that the updater coming off Blizzard is not functioning and some component must be missing… please assist. Would love to see this game….

I got this problem, and i dont know how to fix it.
I downloaded the file, the all-in-one:
•Starcraft II – All in One – v9.6.6 (12.5 MiB, 3,095 hits) – Registration required.
Then when i extract it, by naming it .RAR i dont get any install folder.. Only thing with .exe is SC2ALLin1.exe and i cant install anything there, only launch. And when i launch, i just get a black screen with a cursor.

Second problem, if i run the BETA, it does not patch. And i dont know how to manually update because there are so many patches at the given site,

I have the same problem with the black screen and cursor, how ever i downloaded the Lazy Launcher which works for me, ive been playing StarCraft 2 Beta since yesterday and its awsum, HOWEVER i cant choose the race I want to play with but restarting the game till it randomly chooses my desired race is all i do so it does work Kinda just cnt choose ur race

OK Figured it out – two things – downloaded the 9.7.7 All in one from http://sc2.nibbits.com/assets/starcrack-allin1/. Also it looks like the patches I downloaded and put into the updates folder never got applied. Even though the folder gets deleted.
Check out the link below – it shows you how to point your client to the EU servers for updates they are still up. Only problem is that after every patch this gets reset to the US. So the work-around I came up with is below.

This option has you create a file in the support directory called realmlist.stf and put the following line in it:
set patchlist eu-beta.patch.battle.net:1120/patch
This will work but after every patch this gets reset which I dont like and will make the process take for ever – even setting permissions to read-only only makes patch installs fail.

Work around – update your hosts file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc. Add the following line:

213.248.127.133 us-beta.patch.battle.net

Save the file. Run starcraft II it should now be able to pull updates from the Europe servers without modifying the realmlist.stf file and it will happen automatically.
213.248.127.133 is the IP address of the Europe servers.

Am playing the game now. Hope this helps some peeps.

Got everything all set up, maps, AI, cache, etc.

My first question is, I’ve never seen a patch or downloading update window and all I did was download the client from the torrent so I know it’s not up to date.

Second, When I hit launch after selecting all the options I choose all I get is a black screen and a starcraft mouse on the screen. Which I have to task manager to get out of the end the program. Any fixes or ideas?

alright for anyone looking how to force patch, heres what you need to do. First all you will need all patch files. which you can download from here http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=25170841374&postId=251683269625&sid=5000#0 . then to apply these patch you will need to patch then from First File to Last File in each folder. To do this you with need need to copy the file from the update folder that you downloaded. then rename the file sc2-patch.MPQ , then run the blizzard updater . It should patch that single file to the game . then simply detele the sc2-patch.MPQ file and then do the same with the rest of the files within the update folder. Repeat this with each patch you download.

Hope this help some of you. Sorry if i didnt make it very clear but it worked for me..

To help out the people that have not gotten it to work yet.

1) Install SC2
2) Download ALLin1 9.7.7
3) MANUALLY patch until 12.1
4) Launch your SC2 via ALLin1
5) Play!

I tried patching to 12.1, launching it and it worked! I may or may not continue manually patching as I heard that patch 13 was a little corrupt for some people. I will update this if I decide to patch any further.

If you do not know how to manually patch, read the comments above. One guy explains it well.

This method worked for me, I hope it helps you guys out too.

Is it possible that the most recent updates somehow invalidated installs based on build 13891? Maybe since 13891 is so easily obtained, it was broken purposefully by Blizzard to prevent distribution of the beta by third parties. Just curious.

I’ve been able to play the game with LAZYLAUNCHER, only thing is .. sometimes when i start the game it says: You are victorious.. Well, i copied serveral AI’s to the main folder, and i could play 1 or 2 games.. but then when i reboot my pc,, it won’t work anymore..

Any ideas how to fix this AI problem?

I did a backup just in case, but I patched to update 13 and bam, game crashes now. So something in build 15449 is screwed up. I’m going to try to find another patch mirror and see if maybe my update 13 file got corrupted maybe.

One more thing to mention. For people having black screen+cursor freezes after applying updates MANUALLY, make sure you run the SC2Switcher.exe located in the support folder, and not the StarCraft II.exe file located in the main install folder.

I haven’t patched anything, and I can play the game..
There arent any bugs in it so far, so just play it with lazylauncher

Just look at the top of the page, just pick one of the four AI’s.. download it (register first) and UNPACK it in your main Starcraft 2 BETA folder..
like: C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta

Also make sure u add some maps on the same way,, and then lauch lazylauncher, pick a map and play this BRUTAL GAME

Got a question for anyone using new maps created with the map editor.

I went to the site to download new maps by pressing the button on the All-in-1 9.7.7 tool, which takes you to Starcraft 2 Nibbits page. I got a couple new maps from there, but they won’t load. The game will start, and the map will stay totally black, though the minimap and UI stuff works. No sounds though, nothing seems to start and no units are visible.

I notices the map file names are .SC2Map, and the default ones that work correctly are .s2ma file names. Is there something I should be doing with the .SC2Map files to make them work?

I found a workaround for this.

Download the updates, all 16 of them. Manually patch 13891 install to update 12.1, but do not go up to 13 or higher yet.

After applying 12.1 update, Open the install folder. Default location is C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta

Inside is a folder named Battle.net, and in this folder is a file named Battle.net.MPQ

Move this file to a different location. It may be ok to delete but just to be safe, I moved it to a backup folder.

Since bnet is not yet up due to preparing for next phase, attempting to connect to bnet servers seems to be the cause of the crash after patching to version 13.

Now, resume updating client to update 13, 14, 15 then 16, but with a different process than you did from patch 1 to patch 12.1, the following method worked for me. I will explain.

Since Battle.net.MPQ was removed, there is no need to apply the following two battle net files (no need to copy from patch file to C:\Program Files\StarCraft II Beta\Support and then rename to sc2-patch.mpq and then run the Blizzard Updater). The files are named bnet-bin and bnet-base
- sc2-xxx-x86-Win-enUS-bnet-bin
- sc2-xxx-x86-Win-enUS-bnet-base

Skip those 2 files. Instead, apply the manual patching method to the other two files inside the update folders, same as before. (move from patch folder, rename, run blizzard updater). The game and locale files.
- sc2-xxx-x86-Win-enUS-game
- sc2-xxx-x86-Win-enUS-locale

Do this for patch 13, 14, 15 and then patch 16, remembering to skip the bnet-bin and bnet.base files. Note that patch 16 .zip does not have those two bnet files.

Finally, run SC2Switcher.exe

SC2 will launch, and will start into game. You will notice the main game screen, without any interface or UI elements, no username login box or any buttons at all. You will see the planet background and the battleship flying over, but nothing else. This is because there is no Battle.net.MPQ, but that is fine. ALT-F4 or CTRL-ALT-DEL to get out of the game, end task, and then go to your lazyloader now. Use that from now on.

Run the loader as normal, setup your opponents and settings, select map, and you will be in game with patch 16 (build 15655).

This will also allow you to play the bonus charlemagne maps, new custom maps uploaded from other users, and the SC2Map files from here :

I tested this with 2v4 – High Ground.SC2Map, charlemagne_03_uberfjord_v1.S2ma, and (8) Big Lost Tempel.SC2Map, no problems.

Keep in mind, if you have a valid bnet beta login and will be continuing to beta test, bypassing Battle.net.MPQ updating may cause issues when the update/login servers become available, but for now you will be able to play in offline mode using launchers like lazylauncher.and possibly other launchers.

what can we do?

Probably should have removed battle.net.MPQ and manually patched up to 16 to avoid the problem. Unplug your internet and don’t let it auto-patch because the ALLin1 launcher has not been updated to work with the newest patch.

I’m surprised that the crack worked for as long as it did.

As a general rule of thumb, when cracking a program I never connect to the official servers to update, and run patches manually when possible.

I suspect that update 17 will become available soon. If I can patch without connecting to Blizzard and run an available ALLin1 launcher without any problems, I’ll post details here.

This index contains the patch files needed to manually update. Up until now everyone was under the impression that the most recent patch (before beta phase 2 update out this morning) was 16. It was actually 15.1

So the patches listed on that site should contain 1 through 15, with the small updates 12.1 and 15.1 listed for download.

Also linked is patch 16, which may possibly be the most recent patch. I am downloading this now, will patch up, and will post here if I the ALLin1 launcher is unable to run with the correct update 16.

Until someone verifies this, I suggest everyone stay at build 15.1 until told that update 16 is OK to patch up to.

Download the client, download the ALLin1 launcher.

Unplug from internet.

Install SC2Beta client. Game will try to auto update. Close this. Install the launcher. Play.

You can play on the base install build if you want (13891). You can also update to patch 15.1, but only manually, because if you connect to the Battle net servers, you will be updated to patch 16 and it seems this may prevent the ALLin1 launcher 9.7.7 from being able to start the game. Connect to Blizzard servers only if you have a valid beta key and wish to play online.

I get the error : The file “SC2.exe” could not be found. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support.

Stay at patch 15.1 until a new workaround can be made available. I’m doing what I can to figure this out.

I ahve an issue, it loads up fine but I can’t get past the online key thing. It won’t let me play offline. Plz help!

After using allin one launcher it shows me the battle.net login screen. This is not how it is supposed to work is it?
I let the game automaticly update to patch 16.
Then I reinstalled an tried manually updating until patch 8. Same problem.

I can plaw now on patch 12.1.
Problem is that the game becomes every minute very slow for a while. It is not permanently slow but out of nothing becomes periodly for some seconds. Is this an issue with patch or my computer?

I got this same problem with update 16.
When I get the time I will try it with update 15.1. But it is a time consuming proces to patch everything manually.
I played on update 14 succesfully but had problems with performance. I don’t know if my computer is to weak but I don’t think so since I set all graphic properties to “low”…
Because I patched to update 16 I will have to make a new install and try 15.1.

Everyone, you need to read the comments. All the questions people are asking have been answered repeatedly.

Patch 16 WILL BREAK the ALLin1 launcher!!!! Updating your game after installing by connecting to Blizzard WILL BREAK the ALLin1 launcher.

Stop posting asking for help if you have not read the comments and followed the instructions other people have written out for you.

You must MANUALLY patch to 15.1, and you must do this without connecting to the Blizzard patch servers. Connecting to Blizz to update will give you the “unable to validate starcraft II license” error. After patching manually you then have to move or rename the battle.net.MPQ file from the battle.net folder inside the install directory to avoid black screen hangups and crashing.

If you are unable to read through the comments or do not want to put in the effort to do the manual patch process, there is nothing else people can do to help you.

I manually patched up to 9 and was able to play using the lazy launcher though the AI was really weak. I then tried manually patching to 15.1.
Now almost every launcher I can find will open maps but there are no players just fog of war.
The newest allin1 launcher just crashes after loading a little bit of the progress bar.
I’ve found mention of this problem but no solutions.
Any ideas, or has anyone else had this problem?

I don’t know which patch to begin from when trying to manually patch the client. I have downloaded what i thought was the right patch (patch 14 – enUS) considering the client download from this page is version 13, i presume the next ‘patch’ is patch 14. This doesn’t seem to work however and i think i’ve got the version number wrong.

I know how to manually patch, i just don’t know which patch i am supposed to begin with.

..got an issue here.. after installing patch 16, game does not work anymore. Launcher loads but it prompts a message saying unable to validate Starcraft Il license, please log in to your battle.net account or game editor. Tried to uninstall and reinstall everything including the client but still it keeps prompting that message whenever i tried to launch it.

For the recent people posting. It has been stated that updating to patch 16 WILL STOP the all in one launcher from working due to the new way the client side application interacts with the battle.net servers commencing Beta phase 2.

In-order to get the allin one launcher to work you need to (i know its a pain in the ass, but if you really want to play then you have to do this to fix the problem) uninstall everything and redownload the client available from the top of this page. ***Make sure you kill the installer before it applies any updates after the game has been installed***

Next you have to MANUALLY patch, starting at patch 1 using this link: http://patches.lordaeron.org/sc2beta/pc/enUS/

Download and install each patch *in order* and refer to the following steps to find out how to manually patch the client.

1. locate your SC2 game folder directory. In here you will find a folder called “Support”, open this folder window.

2. Open a ‘new’ folder window and locate your downloaded patch. Within your downloaded patch directory you should have a folder named “Updates” and within this folder you should have between 2 and 4 (this sometimes deviates) files named something similar to “sc2-0.2.0.13891-0.3.0.14093-x86-Win-enUS-bnet-base”

3. Copy and paste the first file into the Support window you have open from earlier and rename it to SC2-patch.mpq

4. Do this for every file in each patch folder, then move onto the next patch folder.

IMPORTANT!!! – Do not update past patch 15.1. Patch 15.1 is where you should STOP as going beyond this breaks the All in one Launcher.

I know allot of people say ‘read the comments’ but i understand the length of this page deters allot of people from doing so. Hopefully this message will help a few people that are having issues with the client.

It keeps asking me to validate the key ._.

A few other things I have not been able to test, but may be possible causes of problems for people.

- If you have another Blizzard game installed (WoW, warcraft 3), the Blizzard Updater may already be patched and expecting you to install Starcraft II beta. I don’t know a work around if that is true.
- If you are installing Starcraft II beta and the ALLinONE launcher into a folder other than default, you may encounter problems.

OK so ii am having some trouble. I did a fresh install of beta client (13891).

I always copied the first and then second “updates” and did the .MPQ thing but still nothing.

I have done every step in the guide ” i hope so cus i reinstalled it twice and followed the guide ” Tho everytime i run SC2ALLin1 opened up maps and so on, i try to lunch it, and only things its a error from ” blizzard ” There is no account etc.. do you need a account to play the game? or can you crack it to just play Offline mode?

when i use the launcher and started up a official blizzard map with the default AI, the game starts up, but then there is an error that says ‘Unable to validate license. Please log in to Battle.net or the Galaxy editor’ or something like that. This is really irritating as i just got a new hard drive for my laptop and one 1 had before had SC2 working great. Now i get SC2 back, and it doesnt work. Please provide assistance if possible. Thanks

I’ve uninstall, re-install, patched to 15.1 and run SC2Switcher.exe just like I’ve read above. The app didn’t show the terran battleship and a planet like I’ve read above, it goes straight to the log-in screen. And when i run the SC2ALLin1 v9.7.7, all it shows is a black screen with SC2 pointer.

I did what wildboar said. What do you guys think i did wrong?

If you are still having issues patching to update 15.1, then just install the base 13891, ****DO NOT PATCH OR CONNECT TO BLIZZARD WITH THE UPDATER**** and then install the ALLin1. If you cannot figure out how to prevent yourself from connecting to Blizzard after the SC2beta install has finished, then it might be best for you to wait for retail launch or a more updated crack.

i updated installed everything and when i start it up i get an “unable to validate starcraft 2 license, please log into battlenet from the game before proceeding.

When I run the launcher and set al the option of AI and other things right and click LAUNCH, I get a message that my account is not legit to play offline??!!
What do I wrong, I really want to play this!:P

Sorry for not reading the comments on regards to my last request. But i have another problem. I patched it all the way to 15.1 and my internet was disabled through the ENTIRE process (installing client, patching manually). My Galaxy Editor works fine but when i try to start a offline game it shows the nice loading screen with a planet and a loading bar, but then the game crashes all the time. Suggestions anyone?

How do I play offline….do I need a Bnet account AGAIN ?

i downloaded patch 9, it was finished and then when i extract the zip folder there’s no files inside..

i followed everything…….when i start the allin 1 launcher it works but the loading takes forever is that normal or what???

Wildboar , Man I’ve tried everything … i have installed the game , then turned off my internet , installed the scallin1launcher , move the file in battle net folder into my starcraft directory and each time I try ro lauch the damn game with the all in launcher theres a black screen with a green cursor and a weird sound from my computer … Any idea , i just bought a damn new computer for that game . i dont have installed any patch.

Hello to everyone!
I hope i will bring some smiles and happiness in your hearts by telling you that it’s been working for me for about a week, ever since i first installed it.
The only PROBLEM, and i know you’re not gonna be too happy to hear this, is that it’s patched up to version 12.1., therefor a lot of stuff is pretty outdated.
but IT WORKS! and, let’s face it, it’s only a demo. so, until the final release, we might as well enjoy what we have so far (that is actually working), right?
These are the STEPS that i followed:
1. downloaded the Starcraft torrent,
2. installed it (DEFAULT INSTALL: let it go into program files,it’s the safest)
3. DIDN’T let it get any kind of updates.
4. downloaded the patches from this link (sorry to the moderators if i’m not allowed to post it, just delete it) http://patches.lordaeron.org/sc2beta/pc/enUS/
downloaded patches 1 -> 12.1
5. removed battle.net.mpq from the starcraft folder
6. installed the patches manually (How do you actually do this: extract the patch files. there should be 2 files for each version of the patch. one of them should be called something like: sc2-0.5.0.14219-0.6.0.14259-x86-Win-enUS-locale and the other one smth like: sc2-0.5.0.14219-0.6.0.14259-x86-Win-enUS-game . What you do, is take them one by one, move it into the “support” folder and rename it sc2-patch.MPQ Then you run the blizzard updater, then delete the newly created sc2-patch.MPQ. then you move to the next one. copy into support folder, rename, run update, delete. And you do this up to 12.1. and NO MORE.
7. then you install the last SC2ALLIN1 9.77, that you have above.
8. copy some maps
9. you’re good to go.

I also got that “black screen and cursor but nothing else” error.

I hope someone can find the reason or a solution for this error.

Also, I don’t know if this can help, but when I check my currently running process while the “black screen” (a.k.a. SC2) is running, I have two SC2.exe process, one using 644 Kb of memory and the other one using a normal amount (around 200 Mb)

I did all the step (installed the build 13891 and the last version of SC2Allin1)

can anyone help me plz , i have followed each step correctly installed update etc. when i luanch all in 1 i can choose map ai etc , but when i click luanch sc2 it keeps asking for a login and password , i have registered at blizzard but the login does still not work , any ideas please

When I start a game from the All in one launcher, the game shows the Starcraft II with initializing maps at the bottom, then I get the error that the license isn’t validated and that I need to log in before I can play, then it takes me to the front screen to log in.

When I open the game up without the “SC2ALLin1 v9.7.7″ it opens fine and loads and I can see the main screen but when I open a map with the “SC2ALLin1 v9.7.7″ it shows a black screen with the mouse. I have updated drivers and have tried all the maps and each one does the same problem. I’m not sure what to do and I’ve read all the other comments and haven’t come to a conclusion.

Will 9.9.0 work with the latest patch (I believe 17 or 18 as of now)?

How do I update to patch 16? I get an “cannot find SC2.exe” error, and i dont know how to fix this problem.

Also, the Allin1 9.9.0 does not work correctly with patch 15.1, anything harder than very easy AI gives me script logic errors in the game.

And now it also seems like Blizzard took down the installation somehow, I can’t get the game to work properly any longer god thank I already ordered it anyway so it will be just a week of doing something else..

9.9.0 Launcher works for 18? oO

I’m having the same issue as VespBurner, script logic errors on any difficulty above very easy, making the game practically unplayable… I’m using patch 15.1 btw.

Okay, so ive been using this for several weeks now. and it has been working perfectly. But as soon as the beta went down, when i start a game, no matter the settings i use, IN Game thats all it is is fog of war everywhere, no starting locations, nothing. just the map is visible. Can i fix this?
