In this article I will adress some of the basic problems I encountered while playing the game and maybe later add a basic prison setup.

General Controls
[W][A][S][D] = Camera Position (works in prison overview aswell)
[↑][←][↓][→] = Camera Angle
[T] = Staff Information
[O] = Options
[P] = Prisoner Information
[F] = Finances
[G] = Guard Information
[H] = Message History
[b] = Build Screen
[M] = Prison Overview
[N] = Demolition

How to get your inmates to make money

• go to you prison overview screen
• select a inmate then right click your factory
• 1-3 workrooms should pop up, sent you inmate to work by left clicking on the workplace you wish

Making money even better
to make money more efficient and lower stress levels you could do the following:

go to you prisoner information screen. When you select a inmate you see his time table, edit it in such a way that you spread you working inmates over the day

(even better: instead of selecting 1 inmate you select a gang, then you change the time table on the bottom and click the set all button, this way you can easily set 1 gang to work in the morning, 1 in the evening etc. great for your money and it keeps the rival gangs apart)

How to get your guards in the towers:

• first go to you to you prison overview
• select the guards tab (not the guard information page)
• select a guard (left click)
• left click the tower you want to be manned by the guard

notice: guards work in 3 shifts (working, coffee, sleep) they will only man the towers during working hours

Help! Prisoners escaping
first of all: happy inmates are less likely to dig tunnels, so keeping you inmates happy pays off when you get the message that inmates are escaping you should do the following:

• pauze the game (this way there wont escape more inmates)
• find the tunnel entrance in the prison
• left click a guard
• left click the tunnel entrance
• unpause the game
• the guard should go there and cover the tunnel
