IEs4Linux from tatanka.com might be broken.
It is telling :
IEs4Linux 2 is developed to be used with recent Wine versions (0.9.x).
It seems that you are using an old version.
I am on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid with Wine 1.2.2 (!)

Then it is telling:
The program ‘ies4linux-gtk.py’ received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was ‘BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)’.

Leaving a comment at tatanka.com doesn’t work either, not with Opera, nor Firefox, nor SeaMonkey, nor Iron…
